Now that we have reached the end of the 2014–15 school year, we would like to take the opportunity to thank you for the work that you do to support students, their families and one another.

We are also grateful for how teachers pulled together during our job action and made adjustments to manage the issues caused by a shortened school year.  Thanks for making lemonade when you were given lemons!

Working for the PRNTA can be a challenging and complex job.  We are steadfast in our belief that when our Collective Agreement is supported teachers are supported. Fortunately, we are all there to support one another―and with the help of our very capable and dedicated Federation staff, we are able to defend our members’ rights and make improvements. We will need to continue to push the Ministry of Education for proper funding and supports for the new curriculum.

Thank you for your passion and commitment, and for your service to education and learning in our communities.
Enjoy a restful and relaxing summer!
