One way PRNTA members can ensure that they are aware of their rights is to know their Collective Agreement (CA).  

Please select the Collective Agreement tab and read an overview of how our CA regulates the terms and conditions of members in our workplaces, our duties and the duties of our employer.

The initial editions outline our contract language around the many types of Leaves of Absence contained in Section G.

Welcome to the newly created website of the Peace River North Teachers' Association (PRNTA). The purpose of this website is to provide members with information, updates, and access to available services. 

The PRNTA is a union of professionals representing approximately 425 teachers in Fort St. John and surrounding areas. We are committed to advocating for quality public education, ongoing professional development and effective working and learning conditions. We represent our members in matters of terms and conditions of employment, and work to promote the welfare of teachers and students in Peace River North.
